Move D – “Pandemix Live Jams Vol. 1” (Source records)

Thinking about this whole thing later, he was there first of all cable car video. Seven minutes, downhill, down to Verbier, move D with selfie stick and FFP2 mask. The mist, the sun, the light, the wooden houses, the mountains, and a sound that seemed to be made for them: misty, nervous, majestic, oceanic, and great magic. Then at some point it was pointed out that a series of EPs appeared. In addition, the legendary label of David Movang (this is the real name of Move D) and Jonas Grossman, who has been out of work for 16 years, is being revived. Source Records released “Kunststoff” by Move D in 1994, and it remains a masterpiece to this day. Source has now released the first of a total of four parts of Moufang’s “Pandemix Live Jams” – digitally and as a limited edition color vinyl.
Many of the DJs who sat on board every weekend felt like in pre-pandemic times like Move D: Marcus Worgull, for example, started out with tennis and yoga and is still amazed about it today. And Move D to him Live broadcast on Facebook He hung on tons of vinyl for hours and also produced what seemed like an incredible amount of music, like a cable car video show and also a four-string “Pandemix Live Jams.”
A bed in a bunk bed?
Moufang’s sense of humor is also not neglected in this EP, already evident from the beginning of Volume 1: “Unsocial Distasting” comes with a spooky piano font, typical flicks, very typical nuances, and a calm only a Move D master can. “Ston’d,” on the other hand, is house music as written in the books: classic, advanced, club-appropriate, old school and new school at the same time. “On The Kerrier District Line” is very open, almost Balearic however it is immediately known who is responsible for this route.
Regarding the fourth track from the EP, it must be noted that the author of these lines has never been a huge fan of ambient music, yet “F*cked In A Heartbeat” is a very nice piece of drift, calm, and elegant music. And in volumes 2, 3 and 4 – these are now appearing little by little – you should be excited just because there are such great titles as “Ein Bett im Hochbeet”.
