Netflix has now discovered several game brands for itself and that anime or series apps are in development or have already been published. The next franchise in the league is supposed to be Monster Hunter.
Monster Hunter is Capcom’s biggest and most successful brand right now – and you’ll be able to watch it on Netflix for the foreseeable future. With “Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild” another gaming brand has now received an anime version of the streaming giant. The first shot should be given in August 2021.
The film revolves around the story of Aidan, a young man who sees himself as the protector of his isolated village. This is threatened by a dragon, which is why Aiden goes in search of help and meets the hunter Julius and his friends. These are members of the Hunters Guild and give Aiden new life as a Monster Hunter.
Aiden is not just a newly created character for the anime. Instead, this is the Ace Cadet from Monster Hunter 4 and the exciting A-Lister in Monster Hunter World. Thus, the Netflix flick also acts as an origin story.
The anime is the latest project in a partnership between Capcom and Netflix. Previously, “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness” was released last week.
