MEDION in the ALDI collection: gaming PC, laptop and tablet from March 30th

ALDI kicked off the spring with three new MEDION devices. In addition to the AKOYA S17403 laptop and the LIFETAB E10421 tablet, there is also a desktop computer with the ERAZER Hunter X20.

AKOYA S17403 is the most multifunctional device among the new releases, the basis of the device is Intel Core i5-10210U, which has four cores and eight threads, and can boast a clock speed of up to 4.2GHz. The integrated Intel UHD graphics card is suitable for office tasks, online broadcasting, or simple photo and video editing. In addition to the 8GB DDR4 RAM, a 1TB PCIe SSD is included.

The integrated IPS panel has a diagonal of 17.3 inches and uses Full HD resolution. The manufacturer kept the bezel narrow. While the cover of the device is made of plastic, aluminum is used for the rest of the chassis. The laptop measures 39.9 x 1.99 x 26.6 cm (W x H x D) and is said to weigh 2.32 kg. A 3-cell, 42Wh lithium polymer battery is fitted, and the battery life is said to be up to 5.5 hours. In addition to the mains adapter connection, audio combo connection and HDMI output, the device also has an SD card reader, a USB 2.0 port, and three USB 3.1 Gen1 connections, one of which is Type-C with DisplayPort functionality. The laptop is delivered with Windows 11 operating system.

The LIFETAB E10421 Tablet PC is a practical and durable device for everyday use. The 10.1-inch tablet houses a 6,000mAh battery and an IPS HD display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. It uses MediaTek MT8167 quad core processor combined with 3GB of RAM. The internal memory of 32 GB can be expanded using a microSD card (SDHC / SDXC). Both cameras are 2 megapixels. The tablet also has a 3.5mm jack and a USB 2.0 Type C port.

The ERAZER Hunter X20 (MD 34235) is a gaming PC based on Intel Core i7-13700K processor, built on GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS ELITE AX processor. It is powered by 32GB of Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 RGB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti with 12GB GDDR6X. In terms of storage, a 1TB WD BLACK SN850X is installed, which is said to support sequential write speeds of up to 6,300MB/s.

The CPU is cooled by an Alphacool Eisbär 240 water-cooling system with two 120mm InWin Saturn aRGB fans. For the power supply, MEDION relies on the Seasonic PRIME GX 850 power supply. The RGB-lit fan-like gaming case is from InWin. Wi-Fi 6 is integrated as well as Bluetooth 5.3. The PC is delivered with Windows 11 Home.

MEDION ERAZER Hunter X20 (2,699 euros) and MEDION LIFETAB E10421 (149 euros) will be available from March 30, 2023 in the ALDI online store. The MEDION AKOYA S17403 (€599) will be available in ALDI Süd branches and in the ALDI online store on the same date.
