Smart Assist is an innovative algorithm designed to balance the environment and the cyclist to improve the driving experience. Thanks to integration into the My SmartBike app, Smart Assist enables the rider to use a new support mode. This adjusts and adjusts the behavior of the X20 system based on terrain slope, rider weight and performance requirements. In this way, the ride can be enjoyed without interruption through a selection of support modes.

The intuitive handling allows the rider to easily carry their smartphone with them, while the SmartBike App interacts seamlessly with the e-bike. This interaction takes place via displays that can be mounted on the handlebars, such as the Pulsar ONE display, and thus allow for relaxed and carefree driving pleasure.

X20: support levels

X20 analyzes driver performance data to intelligently adjust the support mode. The spectrum ranges from Level 1 for firm but low support to Level 3 for tough roads. With the new Smart Assist mode, the algorithm is selected in such a way that the driver can drive more efficiently.

• MAHLE systems are compatible with the ANT + LEV communication protocol, and the new generation X20 supports ANT + PWR for monitoring devices to add or upgrade the system.
