Leak reveals two new Xbox exclusives

A leak has revealed details about two new Xbox exclusives: Midnight, developed by Compulsion and Pentiment, by Obsidian Entertainmet.

Information developed by Windows Central, which reveals that Compulsion’s first project with Microsoft is a third-person game set in a dark and fantasy world. In the image below, we can see the protagonist of the game, next to Harpy, in various stages of transformation. The image on the left looks like a nest.

Drawing its inspiration from the depths of the southern United States, Midnight will be an exclusive single-player game, but it’s still a long way off. Interestingly enough, about a month ago studio Compulsion Games talked about the new project they’re developing, referring to it as an Xbox exclusive single-player combo.

The second game is responsible for the Obsidian game and is codenamed Pentiment. It is being developed by a team of 12 people led by Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternety veteran Josh Sawyer. GamesBeat’s Jeff Group said this project is inspired by games like Disco Elysium and will be a narrative RPG, leaving battles aside.

Supposedly, Pentiment is a mystery game, set in the 16th century, in which players have to solve crimes and charge NPCs whenever they want, whether they are guilty or not. Apparently, the team is experimenting with many different gameplay mechanics, but some of them may be left out in the full version of the game. According to Grubb, the Pentiment will be released in 2022.

On top of that, Obsidian is also working on Avowed and Outer Worlds 2, and you can watch the trailer for this latest project below.
