John Wick Actor Lance Reddick passed away in Los Angeles on March 17 as a result of a heart condition.
According to a death certificate obtained by TMZ, the actor, also known for his acclaimed performance in the wireHe was diagnosed with ischemic heart disease and coronary artery disease.
Ischemic heart disease, commonly known as atherosclerosis, and coronary atherosclerosis are usually caused by plaque buildup in the arteries.
Riddick, 60, had collapsed in the studio city’s backyard when his wife, Stephanie, found him and called emergency services.
At the time of Riddick’s death, his spokesperson confirmed that the actor died of natural causes but did not provide further information.
Riddick has co-starred with Keanu Reeves in the John Wick movies, including the most recent one John Wick: Chapter Four. He is also set to appear in the franchise picture ballet dancer.
Many television credits include Geese And Law & Order: SVUbut his breakout role came with HBO the wirewhere he played Baltimore cop (eventually commissioner) Cedric Daniels.
