In a FILMSTARTS review, “Batman” is described as an outstanding serial killer thriller. Not everyone on the editorial team thinks so, as you can hear in the new episode of Screen Love.
Sebastian, Julius, and Tobias talk about Screen Love in three main throwback episodes covering all of the MCU films from the first three stages (from Iron Man to Spider-Man: Far From Home, see playlist below). However, the “Marvel Boys” like to look beyond the MCU and thus across DC as well: On the new episode of our weekly movie podcast, Screen Love, they discuss “The Batman” starring Robert Pattinson as the bat hero for the second year.
Director and screenwriter Matt Reeves and his team offer a bleak, nocturnal, rain-wrapped interpretation of the comics that makes even Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” films look so hilarious. But what do you think of this approach? Here Sebastian, Julius and Tobias do not agree. We hope you find the new episode more interesting, which you can listen to here in the player, on Spotify, or in any other podcast app:
