Kate Moss Didn’t Enjoy Her Famous Photoshoot With Mark Wahlberg And She Felt ‘Vulnerable And Scared’

Kate Moss admitted that she doesn’t have “very good memories” of Calvin Klein’s famous photo shoot with Mark Wahlberg in 1992.

The couple had an unforgettable campaign together when she was at the beginning of her modeling career and was a famous rapper known as Marky Mark.

talking on desert island discs With Lauren Laverne, Kate said Mark did the photoshoot “it’s all about him” and she also felt “a bit off” by the crew.

Asked if she had good memories while filming, Kate said, “Not very good memories. He was macho and it was all about him. He had a great entourage. I was that model.”

Lauren asked, “Did you feel objectionable?” To which Kate said: Absolutely yes, fragile and frightened. I think they played my double.

She added, “I was so young and innocent, Calvin loved it. I didn’t feel well at all before filming, I couldn’t get out of bed and had severe anxiety.

This isn’t the first time Kate has spoken out about her poor experience filming, previously calling Mark “such an ad f***ing head” and “not being very nice” in an interview with Vanity Fair.

She said: ‘I had a nervous breakdown when I was 17 or 18, when I had to go and work with Marky Mark and Herb Ritts. I didn’t feel like I was at all.

I felt really bad about this wonderful man. Dislike. I couldn’t get out of bed for two weeks.

Mark didn’t have very fond memories of the photoshoot either, and he has since admitted that his behavior on set wasn’t ‘too mundane’.

‘But I saw her and said hello. I think we saw each other at a party here and there, said hello and exchanged pleasantries.

In another previous interview with The Mail on Sunday, Mark also described the photo session as “the most embarrassing moment for him.”

He said, “The lingerie modeling I’ve done for Calvin Klein with Kate Moss hasn’t been very good in the past, but at the time it caught the attention of a lot of ladies!

“Explaining that – along with a rap career – to my children would be embarrassing when they are old enough to ask.”
