Julia Louis-Dreyfus seems equally clueless about a potential “Seinfeld” reunion.

During a stand-up set earlier this month, Jerry Seinfeld told a Boston audience that he “has a little secret” about the beloved sitcom’s finale.

“Something will happen that has to do with this ending. It hasn’t happened yet,” Seinfeld said to huge cheers. “Just what you think, Larry.” [David] I’ve been thinking too. So, you’ll see.”

Louis-Dreyfus, who played Seinfeld’s ex-girlfriend Elaine on the show, responded to the comedian’s comments in a new interview with guardian.

“Yes, I saw you last night,” said Louis-Dreyfus. “And I don’t know what the hell he’s talking about.”

In the “Seinfeld” finale, Jerry (Seinfeld), Elaine (Louis-Dreyfus), George (Jason Alexander), and Kramer (Michael Richards) are arrested and held in prison. More than 76 million people watched the live broadcast, making it one of the most watched television shows in history.

Louis-Dreyfus received seven consecutive Emmy Award nominations for her role as Elaine on Seinfeld, and won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for the role at the 1996 ceremony. Louis-Dreyfus has expressed in the past how difficult it was to deal with the end of a sitcom run.

“I think any time a project ends, it’s frustrating for me,” Louis-Dreyfus said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. “And that goes for movies and TV shows. There’s a focus and camaraderie that’s very present when you’re working hard on a project you believe in, and when the circus leaves town, it’s a huge shift. There’s a real sense of sadness for me. ‘Where have all my friends gone?’ ?'”
