Founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos A source close to the couple told CNN that he and his partner, Lauren Sanchez, are engaged.

Additional details about the proposal or pending wedding plans were not immediately available.

A former broadcast journalist and now philanthropist, Bezos and Sanchez went public with their relationship in 2019. Since Bezos and Sanchez started dating, they have kept details of their life together mostly apart from being photographed on various occasions.

Sanchez, who is also a former helicopter pilot, told CNN that she also plans to head into space in the coming years, saying she will be joined by “a large group of females.”
