Jane Fonda says Robert Redford has a problem with women

Jane Fonda opened up about working with Robert Redford during a seating conversation at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Friday, saying that Redford “doesn’t like kissing,” The deadline has been reported.

Fonda, 85, and Redford, 86, starred opposite each other in four films — the first of which, “The Chase,” premiered in 1966.

Most recently, Fonda and Redford starred in the 2017 Netflix romantic drama “Our Souls at Night,” which saw the couple take on the role of a widow and widower who spark a deep relationship, according to to IMDB.

Although the actors have appeared on screen in the past, Fonda said things weren’t quite the same behind the scenes.

“He didn’t like kissing,” Fonda said. “I haven’t said anything to him about it. And he’s always in a bad mood, and I always thought it was my fault. He’s a very good person. He only has a problem with women.”

While not completely unpacking her words about Redford, Fonda did share some love with her former co-star in the same conversation in Cannes, I mentioned the eagle.

According to the outlet, Fonda said she was “in love with him” during three of the four movies they made together.

“I had a really good time,” she said, though she believed his bad mood was her fault. But that all changed when they filmed Our Souls in the Night.

She said, “What was my age, about 80, or something?” It’s my fault. We always had a great time. He is a very good person. “
