The KARURA project aims to participate in the “University Rover Challenge (URC)” held in Utah, USA by building a rover on Mars with students from all over the world! By carrying out the development, we aim to create a new space for future cooperation in space development and promote the development of international space led by students.
The URC, which the KARURA project plans to participate in, is the world’s premier robotics engineering competition for university students. It takes place every June in the desert in southern Utah, USA. Teams will be evaluated on a 100-point scale for each of the four tasks (geological survey, parts delivery, equipment operation, independent routing) in the initial document check and in the main competition, and will compete for points earned out of a total of 500 points. In the initial review, submission of an interim report summarizing the financing method and management method will be subject to review.
