(WGHP) — If Independence Day is like fireworks, we’re now in the midst of that siren that precedes the explosion. You only have a few days left to make sure you’re ready to celebrate the nation’s birthday with your community.
We list fireworks displays and events as they are announced, so this list will be updated daily as we get closer to the holiday.

Thursday, July 4 Archdale Fourth of July Festival The festival kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at Creekside Park, with food trucks and music from Walden Sound Systems starting at 6 p.m., and fireworks beginning after dusk.
Vendors include Menchies Frozen Yogurt, The Chill Shak, Kyle's Concessions LLC, Sweets and Treats, S&P Lemonade, The Old 97 Kettlecorn Company, Roadway Dawgs and Grill, 4 Fosters Slushies, Sunset Slush, Luxury Brown Sweets and Treats, Knockerball, and more.
Organizers recommend that visitors bring cash.
In the event of rain, the make-up date for the fireworks is July 5th.
the The fourth fun to celebrate Back to Downtown Greensboro Thursday, July 4. The Freedom Run begins at 7:30 a.m. with the Freedom Festival running from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The fireworks display will begin after the Greensboro Grasshoppers game at First National Bank Field.
the Uncle Sam Jam It will be held on Thursday, July 4th, with gates opening at 4:30pm and the fireworks display beginning at 9:15pm.
Parking will be $10 and admission to the Family Fun Area will be $20.
On Saturday, July 13, you can listen to live music and eat at food trucks from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on North Fayetteville Street. Freedom Festival in July.
Joined Mebane Community Celebrates Independence Day July 4th Thursday, July 4 at the Mebane Arts and Community Center. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m., with fireworks scheduled for 9:25 p.m.
Fireworks will be rescheduled if cancelled due to inclement weather.
Davie County invites you to the outdoor amphitheater at Davie County Community Garden Independence Celebration Saturday, July 6. Celebrations will take place from 7pm to 10:30pm followed by fireworks displays.
Mount Airy The Fourth of July Parade and Celebration includes a show at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 4th.
Randleman's “Fun Day” The event will take place on July 5 from 6-9 p.m. and will include fireworks, bouncy castles, a live band, and hot dogs.
There are two great opportunities to watch fireworks in Winston-Salem:
- Thursday, July 4, at the Winston-Salem Dash game at Truist Stadium
- Thursday, July 4, after the Carolina Disco Turkeys game at Couch Ballpark at Wake Forest University
