Essen / Oberschleißheim, April 24, 2023 – At LogiMAT, which starts tomorrow in Stuttgart, IFM and Schreiner Group will present the possibilities offered by RFID technology for indoor supply.
Complete solutions for logistics are becoming increasingly important in order to be able to digitally track all operations from the moment goods are received. In LogiMAT ifm shows an RFID-enabled tracking and tracing gateway. As a partner for RFID tags, IFM works together with the Schreiner Group, which specializes in high-tech tags.
The Schreiner ProTech division offers the RFID-DistaFerr ESD LongRange Label, which has been developed specifically for use on containers made of ESD materials. “We used these RFID labels for the first time in our own production in Tettnang,” says Frank Neuwirth, Head of Product Management Identification Systems at IFM: “There are AMRs (automated mobile robots) equipped with them to move components and finished products inside the plant to and from the different stations. Point An additional plus is the large range of readability of the label.” At the IFM booth, you can experience how intelligent distribution combined with RFID enables seamless communication with high level IT systems.
