LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Calling all “holicam geeks!”
WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan will be in Liberty Township Thursday afternoon to promote the Ohio launch of Real American Beer, a brand he co-founded.
The drink, which shares its name with Hogan's wrestling song, is an American-style light beer described as “light-bodied, refreshing and clean.” The company says its beer is made with 100 percent North American ingredients and has 4.2 percent alcohol by volume.
The real American beer has already been released in several US states and began rolling out in Ohio this week. To celebrate, Hogan's is traveling to several retailers across the state – including right here in the Cincinnati area.
The wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, will appear at the Kroger location on Yankee Way from 1 to 2:30 p.m. to meet fans and sell his products.
Those who can't make it to the Liberty Township concert will have a second chance later today: The Hulkster will be at the Kroger on Locust Street in Oxford from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
“Across the country, the reception to real American beer has been fantastic among fans, distributors and retailers alike — people are really loving it,” Hogan said in a press release. “Ohio is about to join the movement.”
Real American Beer will be available at Kroger, Meijer, Total Wine, Walmart and more.
