Hulk Hogan endorses Trump at Republican National Convention

Hulk Hogan was the crowd favorite at the Republican National Convention on Thursday, getting the loudest and most enthusiastic response yet.

The former professional wrestler, whose legal name is Terry Bollea, made his debut as the Hulk Hogan character he used while competing in the ring. “USA” chants immediately broke out when he first took the stage, and the chants resumed later in his speech.

“When I came here tonight, there was so much energy in this room, I thought I might have been at Madison Square Garden getting ready to win another title,” he said.

“But what I discovered is that I was in a room full of real Americans, bro,” he continued.

Hogan said he has seen “some great tag teams” in his career, but he sees “the greatest tag team of my lifetime” standing in front of them and preparing to save the country, referring to Trump and his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio).

Later in the speech, when Hogan reintroduced himself as his real name, he said he couldn't keep quiet as he usually does about politics given what's happened in the world and during Saturday's assassination attempt on Trump.

“when [Trump’s] “When Trump returns to the White House, America will start winning again,” Hogan said amid chants of “Trump.”
