The phone is available in two colors: blue, black and silver. Honor X8 sports a large, bright display that is perfect for watching videos and browsing the web. The phone’s design is sleek and modern, and it feels great in your hand. The side of Honor X8 is only 7.45mm thick, despite its large size, the Honor X8 is still surprisingly lightweight. On the back of Honor X8, there is a quad-camera setup that protrudes slightly from the body of the phone. The camera module is glass while the rest of the back is made of plastic.
The display of Honor X8 is a 6.7-inch 90Hz full view display. The phone has a resolution of 1080 x 2388 and an aspect ratio of 19.9:9. The LCD display is bright and clear, and the colors are accurate. The 90Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through apps and web pages feel smooth. Though it’s not like the OLED display smartphone on the market, it is still a great display for the price.

The phone can handle more demanding tasks like gaming without any issues. We did notice that the phone can get warm when doing more intensive tasks, but it’s not a major concern.
The Honor X8 also has a large battery that will last you all day long. The phone has a 4000mAh battery and supports fast charging. In our testing, we were able to get about six hours of screen-on time with moderate use.

The Honor X8 has a quad-camera setup on the back of the phone. There is a 64MP main camera, a 5 Mp camera and a depth camera, a macro camera. The camera app is easy to use and offers a variety of features such as portrait mode, night mode, and beauty mode.
The main camera support taking photos in both bright and low light conditions. But one of the downsides of Honor X8’s camera is that the picture would be not clear as it goes under the dim light. So if you want a more quality picture, it’s better to use the camera in well-lit conditions. The colors are accurate, and the detail is impressive. The macro camera is great for close-up shots, and the depth sensor allows you to take portrait mode photos with a nice bokeh effect.
The Honor X8 also has a good front-facing camera for taking selfies. The 16MP camera takes clear and detailed photos. You can also use the front-facing camera to record video in 1080p.
