On August 5, 2024, the long-awaited second expansion for Highrise City, the city-building game from developer Fourexo Entertainment and publisher Deck13, finally brings tourists to your city. I’ll tell you what to expect in my review.
New buildings
The new DLC “Vacation Season” is all about tourism and you get 17 new unique buildings including one of the wonders of the world that can be built in several stages, which in turn will open the eyes of your new visitors and give them an unforgettable vacation, so that they will come back soon. The new buildings, and above all, the entire tourist focus, ensure more realism and life in Highrise City.
More challenges
The distinctive tourism branch has been added, bringing many new challenges and rewards to the game, as well as seven new resources, including products such as souvenirs and luxury watches. However, the highlight of the DLC is definitely the sightseeing tours, which you can plan yourself so that your visitors will have an unforgettable experience that they will not soon forget.
Free content thanks to the update
In line with the new DLC, a new update has also been released, bringing with it some bug fixes and free content to make the gameplay even more enjoyable. You can now build exhibition halls for your offices and make your city more diverse, as well as produce products like gardening tools and shears to keep the city parks going.
