Hidden transfer deals in football in the German Democratic Republic
Changing clubs is strictly prohibited in the German Democratic Republic. She did exist however. A new book by Saxon journalists reveals how they went. At Dynamo, the players were the first to be convinced.

Dresden. Today, transfer fees in the millions are a common practice in football for transferring players from club A to club B. Player changes are officially banned in GDR times. But they still exist, as the book “Delegates” by Saxon journalists Frank Muller and Jürgen Schwartz reveals. On 208 pages, they tell an impressive story about crazy football transfer deals in the GDR, including some player changes to and from Dynamo Dresden.
