Hello Mario – Children's game review, testing, criticism

Little octopus like Mario wants to grow up fast and could use some help. This is the starting point for the children's game Hallihallo Kalmario by Giancimoni Migoni and published by Haba.

Rules: This is how Hallihallo Kalmario is played

After saving the materials, it makes sense to first look at the claw tiles. It consists of two different aspects. One side shows the tip of the tentacle while the other side shows the tentacle connection.

The body of the Calmario is also on a card, which is placed in the middle of the table and the head (a wooden ball with a face) goes into the hole in the middle. Each of the open tentacles has a matching color tentacle tip.

Then everyone takes turns drawing tentacle tiles until you have three purple and three orange. These tiles are then stacked on top of each other without looking back.
Then the first player can turn Mario's head and aim it at any tentacle.

The appearance of Calmario shows the tentacles involved. You can now turn the first card over and see what's on the back. When creating tiles, the color transitions between the two tiles must always match in order for the tentacles to grow. Then it continues clockwise. The first person to place their entire tower in CalMario wins the game.
