Good Shepherd Entertainment has announced that Hard West 2, the highly anticipated sequel to Round-robin tactics, Hard West, will arrive on PC August 4th via Steam & GOG, priced at $24.99. Developed by Ice Code Games, Hard West 2 is set in a classic western environment with a supernatural twist, where legends surround the legendary ghost train and the golden bowl that carries it, according to today’s announcement.

The new trailer focuses on some of the human and paranormal enemies that you will encounter in the game. Among them are Shadow Blackheart, whose curses you must be wary of, as well as Demon Hellspawn’s poisonous phlegm, which he can use to strike entire groups.

Hard West 2 release date revealed

The game’s sprawling and character-packed story, co-written by Origins award-winning and New York Times bestselling author Matt Forbeck (Deadlands), is enhanced by the voices of Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) and Darien Sills-Evans (Days) Gold, League of Legends) and Adam Gifford (The Colony, Batman: Hush) come to life. Added to this is the soundtrack by BAFTA Award winner Jason Graves (Dead Space, Tomb Raider).
