The Albuquerque map shows all the incidents that have occurred in that area, the latest being the shooting last Friday. “Despite the neighborhood, the conditions, the homeless, everything that’s going on here, the Mother’s Day shooting that happened right next door to us is the final straw,” Holland said. Kott asked the mayor what could be done to solve the problem. Keller said, “So what you’ll see is we’re going to continue to move forward on this issue. And now we’ve got cleanup crews through the quarter that’s kind of becoming realistic around April. But that’s going to stay.” Meanwhile, Griff’s hopes to establish a new restaurant in the future. “In the future, it’s probably been a possibility. We could go back. I just don’t know exactly when that will be,” Holland said. Griff’s will continue to operate restaurants in Texas and Louisiana.
