Last week Rockstar Games publicly apologized for the technical issues that marked the arrival of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
In News “The Grand Theft Auto Series – and the games that make up this iconic trilogy – are as good for us as fans around the world know us to be,” the producer begins by posting on its official website.
“Updated versions of these classic games have not been released to match our standards or the standards our fans expect,” he continues.
The studio says it has ongoing plans to fix technical issues and improve each game over time, with the goal that the titles will “reach the quality they deserve”.
Initially, it will include an update in the coming days on all sites that fix many issues. Rockstar says it will be informed in detail when this update comes out.
However, Rockstar revealed that it has listened to player requests for classic versions of the three works to return to digital stores on the computer. As a result, the original versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas are set to return to the Rockstar Store in the coming days. These publications will be available for free to anyone who has already purchased or purchased the Definitive Edition in the Digital Store until June 30, 2022.
