The Google Play system update in January 2023 includes tweaks to system-related features and bug fixes, such as expanding support for game profiles, improving and improving Play Store functionality, and updating the password manager.

This is provided to Play Services and Play Store provided by Google through Google Play system updates, not Android OS updates. Google system updates are available for phones and tablets, Android TV, Google TV, Android Auto cars, Wear OS devices, and Chrome OS devices.

Security and privacy

• [スマートフォン] With a password manager, you can store multiple passwords in your Google account and use them across different websites and devices. With this new change, you can now add notes to your existing and new passwords.

wallet

• [スマートフォン] We’ve updated the wallet’s mobile web experience design and infrastructure.

Developer service

• [スマートフォン] We’ve added new developer features for Google and third-party app developers to support our in-app developer services around device connectivity, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
• [スマートフォン] We’ve updated the platform’s QR scanner to allow you to select an existing photo. We also made it possible to handle OEM and UPI camera codes.

System administration

• [スマートフォン] Updated system and usability management services to improve device connectivity, device performance, network utilization, privacy, security, stability, and usability.

One of the most visible and useful features of this is the ability to add notes to the password manager under the Security & Privacy section. It’s useful if you have multiple accounts on the website or if you have instructions, and it’s convenient because you can sync your notes between Android devices and Chrome (browsers).
