GeForce 512.95 . DriverThis is bug information. Official known bugs and user reports noted on NVIDIA’s external GeForce forums are translated. User reports do not occur in all environments and may be environment dependent. I hope it will be useful for those with similar problems.

NVIDIA official: A known bug (release notes + forum)

– If you connect an HDMI 2.1 TV to the GeForce RTX 3000 series and the TV is turned off, the separately connected computer monitor may not wake up from sleep mode on the screen. [جديد]
– In an environment that uses non-native resolution, turning on/off HDR in the game will make the game unstable. [جديد]
・If HDR is enabled in Windows display settings, the image may be overexposed when recording a DirectX 12 game using ShadowPlay.
– In an environment where “NVIDIA Image Scaling” is enabled, video playing on Microsoft Edge may display green when returning from hibernation or booting with Fast boot.
– Oculus Rift S and Pimax Vision 8K X not detected in GeForce RTX 3090 Ti environment.
– While playing Assassin’s Creed Origins, the screen flashes when the character approaches the boat while underwater.
– In an environment where DSR / DLDSR is enabled, the screen may flash temporarily after waking the screen from sleep mode.
– In an Ampere GPU environment (RTX 3000 series), when connecting to an audio/video receiver via HDMI 2.1 and playing with Dolby Atmos, the sound may be interrupted.
・3D Club CAC-1085When using (DP → HDMI Adapter), 4K @ 120Hz cannot be used and is limited to a maximum of 4K @ 60Hz.

Report an error to the user

– After installing the driver, when I tried to restart the computer, it stopped at the restart screen. I had to hold the power button to force the computer to shutdown.

– The main console flashes black and white while installing the driver, then the screen turns off and is no longer detected. You can use the second screen. The main monitor showing symptoms is the ViewSonic VX2458-P-MHD.
You cannot use the third monitor with GeForce RTX 3070 after installing this driver. When I connect a third screen, all the other screens freeze. I was able to use it with 511.65 without any problem.
-After updating the driver, the game will stop working. Clicking on the second screen will launch the game, but clicking on the main screen will stop it again. When I reinstalled the driver using DDU, it didn’t stop working, but this time I couldn’t set it to Ultra or higher quality.

I am using a laptop called Dell Alienware x17 R1 2022 (RTX 3080), but the main screen is not showing and only the external screen is showing. Also due to Kernel Power error due to nvlddmkm.sysBlue screen error (BSoD) crashes more than 20 times.
・ ↑ The same problem occurred on my Dell Alienware x17 R2. Dell also says he doesn’t know how to solve it. I tried to go back to the 471 driver in Dell,I get a blue screen.

-Since 512.95 the shutdown has been repeated with a blue screen error.[MSI GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OCV1]-After using this driver, the computer crashes and restarts.[RTX 3090 FE]

– Since 512.95, many artifacts have been shown in F1 2021. This has not been the case with previous drivers, so this driver is likely to affect them.

– Since using this driver, the sound in all games will cut off, the game will be delayed, and the scene will be cut off. Not only that, but when I’m talking on Discord, my voice is choppy or similar to a robot’s voice.

All the games I tested are good and have no other problems.

Added a new known bug that other computer monitors will not wake up when using an HDMI 2.1 TV with RTX 3000 series. Please be careful if you are in the relevant environment.

Moreover, in the user report, there are various monitor-related error reports, such as a crash in a multi-monitor environment, and BSoD that occurs without displaying the built-in screen when installing on a Dell laptop. Currently, people in a multi-monitor or laptop environment (especially the Dell Alienware series) may want to take a look.
