MThe team of new tenant Vaios Zervas and his niece Argyro Mantza will soon be enjoying the Greek wind blowing at the “Steinmühle” Gaming hostel. The opening will take place on Friday, April 19th.
The “Steinmühle” in the gaming center has been closed since October 2021. Now new life is coming to the traditional inn with the “Santorini” restaurant, much to the delight of owner Kurt Elsasser. The famous pop singer bought the house, located just off the B25, in 2016 with his wife, Brigitte.
Since then, Steinmühle has seen a number of tenants come and go. “We are now convinced that it will work,” Alsasser says. The pop singer himself is a fan of Greek cuisine and has convinced himself of the cooking skills of famous Greek restaurateurs. “The family knows their craft and already runs a restaurant in Kapfenberg. In addition to Greek specialties, they also pamper their guests at the games with traditional home cooking,” says Elsasser.
The Steinmühle is being given a Greek theme in blue and white colours, and the guest garden is being beautified. “We're very excited to see what it's going to look like when we open,” says Kurt Elsasser, who will be on hand with live music when it reopens on April 19.
