Gamescom: “Your Way to Victory” Erazer is looking for super players

Ride with the pros for once – the Erazer booth at Cologne Gamescom can become your starting point here. Because the Medion subsidiary is debuting as an independent brand this year and is making a name for itself by offering amateur gamers the chance to prove themselves in a SimRacing tournament. According to a press release, whoever wins the race in the long run has a chance to earn a spot on the professional SimRacing team.

In August, the Toy Fair will be held again in Cologne.

Erazer offers the opportunity to the professional team

At booth B-021 in Hall 8.1 at Gamescom, visitors will have “the opportunity to compete in offline and online games.” It is clear that “there is a hero in every person,” as Eraser states, “regardless of race, gender, or experience.” The YR2V “SimRacing” Challenge is being run in collaboration. One of the partners is GetCloserRacing. Whoever wins the competition has the chance to claim a spot in the SimRacing Training Camp.

Then there’s the chance to win a spot on the Getcloserracing team for the Grand Final. However, that will take a few months, as pre-selection will continue at the SimRacing Show in October.

Live at Gamescom

Anyone who also wishes to follow the first qualifying round offline will have the opportunity to do so on August 24, 2023 at Gamescom. From 10 a.m. on the Erazer Stage, Robby Hunke will be commenting on everything “happening on the participants’ screens.” Among others, there will be influencer ShevaLion and SimRacerin Tisi Schubech as well as Felix von der Laden, Jana Riva, Matthias Malmedie, Laura-Marie Geissler and Arda Saatci. According to media information, they act as “coaches and team captains for YR2V participants”, accompanying the competition and answering questions from fans.
