G7 Ministers Visit Ducati Factory

G7 Ministers Visit Ducati Factory

The delegation, headed by Anna Maria Bernini (Minister of Universities and Research), visited the museum, the Style Centre and the factory in Borgo Panigale and was welcomed by Ducati managers.
The Ministers’ decision to visit Borgo Panigale fills us with pride and recognises Ducati’s commitment to promoting technological excellence and Italian identity through its R&D and motorcycles.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati

Late in the afternoon of July 9, Ducati received a delegation of G7 ministers who were in Bologna for the Ministerial Meeting on Science and Technology.

The group of Ministers/Heads of Delegations and their delegations visited the plant in Borgo Panigale, where they were welcomed by the Ducati Board of Directors, accompanied by CEO Claudio Domenicali and the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini.

The visit began at the heart of the company, the Ducati Museum, which showcases the brand’s almost century-old history. Later, on this special visit, the Bolognese company also opened the doors to its Centro Stile, the place where Ducati motorcycles come to life, transforming from an idea into true works of art. The tour then concluded at the “Finitura e Delibera Estetica” building, inaugurated at the end of 2022. This is where the final stage of the production cycle takes place, where employees take care of the finishing of the motorcycle with the greatest possible sensitivity.
Hosting the G7 Science and Technology Delegation is a great honour for us and makes us truly proud. This visit is a confirmation of Ducati’s commitment to promoting technological excellence and Italian identity through our R&D work, as well as our motorcycles. It is also an important recognition for the company and for the entire Motor Valley because it underlines the importance of technology and science.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati

The visit of the ministers, who will participate in the Ministerial Meeting on Science and Technology, was an opportunity for Ducati management to talk, in addition to the brand’s century-long history, about the company’s development programmes, which include investment projects in new products and the infrastructure of Borgo Panigale.
