Fluminense will play its first match with the public during the pandemic this Wednesday (6)

On Wednesday (6), the Maracana will host another Rio-licensed test event. Fluminense will face Fortaleza, for the Brazilian Championship, at 9:30 pm with the permission of 20,000 fans, which is equivalent to 30% of the stadium’s capacity.

This is the first time the tricolor club has played with the public during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As in other football matches already authorized, fans must provide proof of vaccination and a negative test for Covid-19 taken 48 hours in advance. The use of a mask is also mandatory.

Until next Sunday (10), there will be five demo events in town, including two games by Fluminense, one by Botafogo, a rock festival in the Central District for up to 2,500 people and a party in the Western District.

According to festival organizers, all safety protocols will be required, including the use of a mask, as well as temperature measurements, the provision of alcohol gel and flags on the ground for distance.

The shows will take place from October 6 to November 1, starting at Praça da Pira Olímpica and passing through São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, and Brasilia, offering a program with plenty of music and art to pay homage to the history of national rock.

Last weekend, two events followed the same streak. Anniversary at Palazzo Copacabana for 500 guests and a party for 5,000 people at Alto da Boa Visa did not require the use of face protection. But the second time around, the staff on duty, such as waiters and cleaners, wore masks amid the crowd.
