I’m sure many of you are looking forward to midnight to start playing Final Fantasy XVI, while others need to get up early to get to their local store to pick up a physical copy of the game.
However, reviews of the game will appear soon Famitsu Already posted his quadruple review of Final Fantasy XVI (thanks, Ryokutia 2089), based on its traditional score-out-of-40 method (that is, four independent reviewers rate the game from 0 to 10 and then add up the scores), with the final score being almost command.
We say almost because the game has a score 39 out of 40 That prevented FFXVI from becoming the 30th game in the magazine’s history to achieve a perfect score, something games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Street Fighter 6 have achieved this year.
In the review, they also said that it took about 40 hours to complete the main story and about 70 hours to complete the game and explore most of the side content.
We’ll bring you our Final Fantasy XVI review very soon and see if our impressions match up or take a different tack. Final Fantasy 16 launches tomorrow and promises to be one of the biggest titles of the year.
