Both ClipIR-12 models can be connected to existing night vision devices to enable thermal image fusion. The integration of thermal imagers and night vision devices is the gold standard for low-light and no-light operations, providing tactical advantages and improved situational awareness while significantly increasing range compared to traditional stand-alone night vision devices.
Shutterless XTI technology from Thermoteknix
Patented Thermoteknix Shutterless night vision device provides a wide field of view and thus maximum situational awareness.
The ClipIR-12B is powered either by an internal battery or externally via a four- or eight-cell battery pack on the back of the helmet. The ClipIR-12E is powered by an external battery pack.
Augmented reality capabilities included
Groundbreaking augmented reality capabilities are achieved through the delivery of Thermoteknix ARTIM or ARTIM-MINI smart batteries, which combine thermal fusion and an intuitive gaze-controlled 3D AR display with real-time data from leading battle management systems such as the Combine ATAK.
“The ClipIR-12 Series brings together more than a decade of Thermoteknix’s experience in developing and manufacturing thermal imaging and night vision systems. These latest technological advances improve operational effectiveness, situational awareness and safety of military personnel in the “The field.”
