here we are! Starting today, players around the world can become Magalan Champions. ELEX II, the science fiction role-playing game, is released today for PC and consoles and features a vibrant open world to explore. This is home to five main factions, each with their own story for fans to experience.
Magalan is full of fascinating objects, hidden treasures, and stunning landscapes – there are no limits to explorers: everything you see can be explored, the officials announce in a current press release. And thanks to Jax’s improved jetpack, discovery is made even more exciting, as the jetpack allows you to jump on the roof of an ancient skyscraper or float gently like a feather in a deep cave without Jax breaking his leg.
But all that glitters is not gold. ELEX II also has typical weaknesses that we already know from all the other games from Piranha Bytes. The animation and characters look completely wooden, and the battles don’t feel too dynamic and contemporary. On the other hand, like many role-playing games Piranha Bytes, ELEX II can again shine with a lot of exploration, atmospheric game world and successful customization of your character.
Anyone who has enjoyed with ELEX, Risen or Gothic will also love ELEX 2. Basically, ELEX 2 is a hit game that shines with very few bugs right from the release. The developers’ latest adventure doesn’t set new standards either.

ELEX II is available today for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X, with an MSRP of €49.99 for PC and €59.99 for consoles. ELEX II is available on Xbox and PlayStation from 15:00 CET, with the game opening for PC at 19:00.
