Ecobubble Deep Cleaning – Samsung UK Newsroom

As contradictory as it may sound, washing your laundry in cold water can be a good decision! This way you can save money, contribute to the environment and achieve perfect results – from a delicate silk blouse to a slow jogger. How it works? This is why we love moving the wash basin:

1 / washing machines from German parts:

There is a washing machine in more than 96% of homes in Germany1but at the same time the devices are among the top 10 most energy-consuming devices2. If you’re thinking about your electricity bills and the environment, connect the machine to the hot water pipe, fill it to the top with each wash and select the modes with lower temperatures and no prewash. WiFi-enabled devices with AI and app control can help select the appropriate program.

2 / Soft foam and low temperatures sufficient to achieve excellent washing results. Samsung shows how this can be done using its Ecobubble technology:

Detergent is dissolved in water in a foam generator before the detergent comes into contact with clothes, which adds air to create fine bubbles of foam. The finished foam is then fed into the cylinder. Due to its delicate consistency, it penetrates quickly and deeply into the tissues. Therefore, the foam is already washed off the moment it comes into contact with the laundry and thus guarantees a perfect result.

3/ Ecobubble is simply a great laundry cinema:

Samsung’s Ecobubble technology puts detergent into the drum as a foamy cushion. As a result, clothes are not only washed gently, but also washed 24% more thoroughly at lower temperatures.3 than a conventional cotton wash at 40°C.

4/# Bubbles Against Problems:

Laundry is soaked in bubbles for about 30 minutes, which allows it to penetrate deep into the fabric and remove stubborn stains – from silk blouses to sweaters. This technology can help remove stains even at low temperatures. Thanks to Ecobubble technology, it can also save a lot of energy with the same washing performance – up to 70%.4

5 / With the help of artificial intelligence, modern washing machines are able to recognize the type of fabric to be washed and set the specified program.5

If they are also WiFi-equipped, they can be controlled and monitored via apps such as SmartThings and the SmartThings Energy service. In SmartThings Energy, daily, weekly and monthly electricity consumption can be easily checked.
