The Backstreet Boys had a visitor on stage at their show in Toronto, Canada Saturday evening.
Rapper Drake joined the boy band as they performed the song “I Want It That Way”. This was the second of two shows the group performed in Drake’s hometown as part of their DNA World Tour.
Before launching into the famous song, People Magazineattributed to online footage, stated that Drake shared a personal story about why the Backstreet Boys’ injury was so important to him.
“At the age of 13, I had a bar mitzvah, and at my bar mitzvah, for the first time in my life, this girl I loved while she was playing one of the greatest songs in the world came up to me and asked if I was going to dance with her,” he said, according to the magazine. . “It was the first time I felt appreciated, and it was the first time I felt like, you know, trying to be great.”
