Above these stones are three more pyramid-shaped stones on the second level and one tip-shaped one on the third level. There are 15 stones, three of five colours. So it will be kind of a stacking game.

Now comes the difficulty: the tasks set the conditions. These can include various specifications such as:

• Use x stones of one color.
• The sum of the X stones must come from two or more colors.
• All balls of one color must touch all balls of the other.
• Two colors should be represented equally often.
• A particular color cannot be at the same level as another colour.
• Balls of one color must be repeated more often than balls of the other colour.
• The color must be on at least one of the four corners (including the edge).
• Three colors should form an exact row – also diagonally.
• Balls of one color must touch all other colours.
• All balls of one color must form a chain following certain rules.

This already seems a bit confusing. The only other requirement is the number of balls used. But what colors should the balls have there remains an open question. This is part of the logic problem.

How long does the solution take?

As expected, the first tasks are solved quickly. In addition, there is a certain educational effect. But with increasing difficulty and more complex specifications, a simple stretching task becomes a real brain teaser.

Experienced puzzlers will skip the first level once they understand the principle. But already in the second third of the missions, the challenge increases significantly. The last missions are real brain teasers that can also cause problems for experts.

Is Dimension logic interesting?

Under the dimension it says “Mind Games” on the packaging. I didn’t feel particularly challenged in the first third. But even these tasks will present difficulties for some, especially those of a younger age.

Mind Games are still quite appropriate. Because the brain “grows” later with the tasks. The middle levels are already very fragile, and after that they become very difficult. I really enjoyed that.

Despite good instructions, it was difficult to get started. How the stones are placed and what rules must be “read” and how, in my opinion, it is difficult to see at first. A more detailed example could have been appreciated. But: at least there is an explanation when you touch the stones.
