Deutsche Telekom relies on SAP cloud services for digital transformation. The so-called RISE with SAP includes needs-based, flexibly scalable services with an emphasis on real-time data management.
(red/cc) Deutsche Telekom, one of the world's largest telecommunications companies, is the first company to offer the custom-developed cloud software RISE with SAP. The basis for this is the recently expanded partnership between SAP and T-Systems as the business IT subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, a long-standing partner and so-called premium supplier of RISE with SAP. The deepening of the partnership represents a significant milestone in the cooperation between SAP and Deutsche Telekom.
Comprehensive cloud services with hybrid public and private services
As one of the largest international telecommunications service providers with more than 252 million mobile customers, 25 million fixed line and 22 million broadband customers, Deutsche Telekom operates in more than 50 countries. In line with the company's innovative strength, Deutsche Telekom RISE has partnered with SAP to transition a significant portion of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) to SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
As a featured RISE vendor with SAP, T-Systems will migrate, integrate and manage over 300 systems in public and private clouds based on T-Systems Private Cloud (Future Cloud Infrastructure/FCI), and will also use the following: These are called Hyperscalers (note aws Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud). The goal is to enable customers to meet all German and European data protection requirements and benefit from tailored migration and management of complex landscapes, SAP said in a press release.
Focus on logistics, procurement and finance
