Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released a week early.
“This game has been mastered and will be released one week earlier than planned! We are waiting for you in 9th century Baghdad,” said Ubisoft. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One on October 5th.

Bassem Ben Ishaq, who appeared in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, is one of the main assassins of the Byzantine Brotherhood and the protagonist of the game Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
When reflecting on Bassem’s life before he met Ivor and Sigurd, Ubisoft Bordeaux studio found it hard to resist the temptation to develop the story into a 20-hour game. Moreover, Baghdad was “the largest and most advanced city in the world” and “a center of commerce, science and politics”, which provided more opportunities for the history of the hidden.
“We designed Basim to be the perfect killer, agile, cunning, prey-hunting, attacking from the shadows,” script director Sarah Beaulieu told Geek Culture in an interview. “From his ability to effortlessly parkour from rooftop to rooftop, to the way he uses the Assassin Tool to quietly approach targets and quickly dodge them after taking them down, everything we’ve developed has served that purpose.”
The camouflage and detection systems have also been reworked, allowing Bechem’s Eagle to spot enemies from an elevated position if desired, though Bechem’s Eagle can be shot down if spotted. In addition, the enemy AI has been boosted, allowing assassins to be spotted from greater distances.
In other gaming news, Netflix Games announced that it will fund four new studios through its three-month Experience Excellence Accelerator Program.
