More than a year after announcing his exit from Showtime’s financial drama, Damian Lewis is back on the set Billions Confirmed.
Showtime has revealed that the Emmy winner will reprise his role as Bobby “X” Axelrod in the upcoming seventh season. He will appear in six of the 12 episodes. Season 7 is set to air later this year. In addition, Toney Goins, who plays Philip on the series, has been promoted to a series regular.
In season seven, “alliances are turned upside down. Old wounds are weaponised. Loyalties are tested. Betrayal takes on epic proportions. Enemies become guarded friends. Bobby Axelrod returns, as stakes grow from Wall Street to the world,” according to the network’s official synopsis.
