Singer's album for 2023, The Rise and Fall of a Midwestern Princess, The latest single, “Good Luck Baby!”, has been a huge hit on the charts this summer.

All this musical success has opened up many opportunities for the singer. However, she recently made it clear that she won't accept everything that comes her way, including a prominent job opportunity in Hollywood.
In conversation with Saturday Night LiveBowen Yang for Interview Magazine Chappelle revealed in an article published Monday that she has no interest in acting.
“I say this with peace, love and blessings. Actors are so crazy,” she told Bowen, who asked if she would pursue a career in the industry. She added that she is “very intimidated by the people in the film industry,” and was recently asked if she would like to “lead” different acting projects.
“I appreciate it, but literally, no,” she said, noting that she initially took up music as a path to acting. However, after moving to Los Angeles, the singer realized the profession wasn’t for her, describing the industry as “very scary” and “very out of touch with reality.” [her] Controls.
In contrast, Chappelle said she can “release music whenever” she wants, and doesn't have to wait to be cast. However, Chappelle said she “might” be open to appearing in a supporting role in the right project. “I think it would have to be very specific and very silly,” she added.
“I've been trained on how to act, but this is the most stressful thing for me. I'd rather be caught,” she added.
Acting wasn't the only thing the singer rejected. Elsewhere in the interview, she rejected the idea of cashing in on her growing fame by accepting any deal with any label.
“My career has been successful because I did it my way, and I didn’t compromise on ethics and time. I didn’t give in to pressure,” she said. “Like, ‘Bitch! I’m not going to do a deal with a brand if I don’t feel it’s right. I don’t care how much they pay me.’ That’s why I can sleep at night.”
