Asus has announced a gaming mouse aimed at esports enthusiasts and aspiring professional gamers as part of its Republic of Gamers gaming brand. The mouse was developed in collaboration with the team at the fps training program Aim Lab.
It measures 127.5 x 63.7 x 39.6mm and weighs 54 grams. The Harpe Ace also has a built-in optical “AimPoint” sensor, which Asus claims has a maximum resolution of 100 to 36,000 DPI and a deviation of less than 1 DPI.
The sensor records movements up to a speed of 650 ips and acceleration up to 50 g. The mouse also has a polling rate of 1000 Hz and, according to the manufacturer, can withstand 70 million mouse clicks. The wireless mouse has a battery life of up to 90 hours on a 2.4GHz connection and 98.5 hours on Bluetooth. It is also possible to connect a mouse via USB-C.
In addition, Asus is showing a Hone Ace gaming mouse pad that measures 508mm long, 420mm wide, and 3mm high, with the measurements given below. According to Asus, these devices are intended for use with Aim Lab software to practice “swiping” movements. Both products are expected to be available by the end of January.
