Canon Launches Arizona 1300 Series with FLXflow Technology

Canon introduces the new Arizona 1300 series with FLXflow technology. The large-format printing system aims to simplify handling of different materials and enable more efficient production thanks to intelligent software solutions.

Canon announces a new flatbed printer series including the Arizona 1300 series with FLXflow technology. According to the manufacturer, the large-format printing system for medium-volume printing aims to provide greater efficiency and increase productivity with FLXflow technology and additional quality modes.

FLXflow media handling includes new optional Float and Instant Switch functions for improved media handling in addition to the existing Hold function that fixes media to the flat, non-area table. Hold holds media in place using airflow technology, while Float creates an air cushion to make heavy or delicate substrates easier to place. With Instant Switch, users can switch the machine from stand to float with the help of a foot pedal.

Advanced image layout controls allow for last-minute adjustments and, according to Canon, are intended to provide additional flexibility in placing substrates on the table and reduce the amount of waste of expensive materials. The service also offers remote maintenance by qualified and authorized service technicians, resulting in increased uptime.

The current Arizona 1300 with FLOW technology can be upgraded to the current version with FLXflow functionality including optional float and instant switching functions. Another upgrade is the expansion of image layout controls or Prisma XL Suite workflow software. Using the software, all necessary adjustments can be made before the actual print, saving time and allowing for accurate cost estimates.

The Arizona 1300 FLXflow Series is available now through authorized partners and Canon direct sales organizations.
