Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold6 was launched on July 31 as a new foldable smartphone product. One of its selling points is a variety of artificial intelligence functions called “Galaxy AI.”

This time, I tried using the Chat Help and found it very interesting, so I would like to introduce it to you.

Chat Help, as the name suggests, is a feature that can be used with messaging apps. This time, I decided to try it out with Gmail and checked out three features, including “Sentence Generator,” which creates a full text from fragmented instructions.

In addition to Chat Assist, Galaxy AI also has Call Assist, Note Assist, etc.

“Sentence Generation” is a function that allows you to enter what you want to convey and it will generate a sentence that matches the desired scene and style. There are four types of scenes: “Standard”, “Email”, “Social Media”, and “Comments”, and three types of styles: “Professional”, “Informal”, and “Polite”.

This time, we created a more massive sentence based on the sentence “I would like to change the meeting date from the 7th to the 9th.”

For example, for “Email,” not only the text but also the subject line is generated instantly. Also, when I tried “Social Media,” a sentence with emojis was generated that looked like it could be posted instantly. Also unique is that they carefully included hashtags.

Next, “sentence style” is a function that allows you to change the style of sentences you have already written. Here, I thought and decided to use the sentence “My smartphone battery is about to run out, can you lend me your charger?”

In “Text Style”, the original text is displayed as “Original”, and you can check five other types: “Professional”, “Normal”, “#SNS”, “Polite”, and “Emoji”.

For example, in “Informal,” the sentence was “My smartphone battery is about to run out.” In “#SNS,” hashtags are added as in the previous “Sentence Generation.”

“Spelling and Grammar”

The “Spelling and Grammar Check” flags grammatical errors. Here I decided to use the sentence “I feel sick and can't eat anything.”

Then they suggested a correction that was exactly what I had anticipated, such as: “I feel sick and can’t eat anything.”

The Galaxy Z Fold6 is a foldable device that lets you use the nearly 7.6-inch main screen by unfolding the device. The large screen and the addition of AI functions give it the impression of a “devil in disguise”, and it seems that it will greatly improve work efficiency.
