This originates from a message in the Xbox Blog. “Xbox Singing Controller” with built-in speaker is a collaboration that Microsoft started with Interscope Records, songwriter Benny Blanco, pop group BTS and rapper Snoop Dogg to release their new single “Bad Decisions”.
The clouds have started
This exclusive console comes in bold red and is stamped with the artists’ names. The speaker on the back of the console plays the new song at the touch of a button. The number of pieces is strictly limited, there are only 30 copies in total, which will be withdrawn immediately. You can participate via Twitter, and the contest runs until August 25. Microsoft has compiled exactly how it works and all terms of participation on a campaign page.
The console will definitely become a sought-after item for future collectors. The Xbox team is sure: “With its unique design, the Xbox Lyrical Controller is a true collector’s item for game and music lovers alike.”
Perhaps at some point there will be other similar campaigns with vocal controls.
There is definitely another good thing to start with “bad decisions”. Forza Horizon 5 is donating an exclusive vehicle built specifically for the song’s release, a buggy. The car paint shows the song artwork and the song QR code. The 1971 Meyers Manx Buggie with its exclusive oil can be downloaded from in-game Message Center gifts.
