Party games with quiz questions usually have two big problems: either all quiz questions are memorized over time through repeated repetition, or the questions lose their relevance and no one can solve them. “Jetlag,” a small party game for three to eight people, seems to be aware of this little problem, which is why it got rid of both problems with a bit of a twist. In “jetlag” one does not think about it, but thinks about the future. Let’s take a closer look at what that means here!

Information about the game

A game where “Back to the Apes” and “Kevin Alone to the Shark” are still completely ordinary!

In “Jetlag”, two teams of three to eight people have to compete against each other and answer more test questions than the other side. It basically works as follows: a total of ten cards are taken from a large deck of cards, which make up the deck of both decks. When it is the first team’s turn, the top card is removed and the denomination of the front and back face of the card is read to the active person.

Once they have chosen one of the two categories, the reader begins with the first question. So far so normal. The trick is that the active person does not allow him to answer the first question! After reading the first question, flip the hourglass and immediately read the second question. The active person must now answer the first question on this question! In the case of the Complete Film Titles card, it will look like this after the film title “Soldier James…” The hourglass is flipped over and the answer to the next title should be “Guards…Ryan!”. If the hourglass runs out or the active person answers one of the questions incorrectly, the team must stop immediately.

The team receives points for each milestone it reaches. For example, if only one question is answered, the team will score a zero, two questions will give one question and eight will give the team a total of two points. The last card of both teams always counts twice as many points! Once all the cards are played, the team with the most points wins.
