It’s not always easy being a coach of a team. Athletes are under constant pressure and have to be at their best so as not to disappoint the club and especially the fans. This quickly turns coaches into all-round players, as they not only have to take care of the athletic performance, but also the mental state of the team. That’s exactly the mission in ″Ted Lasso – Party Game! So don’t let your team down and push them to be the best!

In Ted Lasso – Party Game, the task of the playing group is to collectively manage the interests and needs of the soccer team. Under pressure of time, the playing group must try to overcome challenges by sending coaches to the most important locations and playing their hand cards to meet matching needs. They all have approximately the same number of cards in their hands, which in turn can be played in different moves. He either plays cards on the characters to satisfy their needs, moves the trainers to another location, or ignores them in preparation. At the end of the round, the cards discarded in this way are counted and any challenge removed for every five cards.
All challenges on characters solved by the hand cards are then discarded and any effects are triggered. The group receives minus points if at the end of the round (i.e. once the time runs out) people still have cards in their hands (the group played these cards too slowly). If there are still unsolved challenges on the characters, new ones will be added, so that there is always something to do.
Characters who solve all challenges award bonus points to the collection (in fixed form or by rolling soccer dice) and are replenished in subsequent game rounds. To add variety to the game, additional event cards are revealed, which give game rounds the option of additional action or special action bonuses.
Once the group has managed to get 45 victory points, everyone collectively wins the game. However, if four game rounds have been completed and the 45-point limit has not yet been reached, the game group has forfeited the game.
