If you imagine a drawing game, then the roles are clearly assigned. Usually one person picks up the pen and begins to draw something and the rest of the group guesses the term they are looking for. In Picture Points, this principle is turned on its head. Suddenly everyone has pencils and paints at the same time. Even the picture is known to everyone, and yet the one who draws beautifully does not necessarily win. Let’s take a closer look at how this is supposed to work!

This is what the game is about

As mentioned earlier, Picture Score is all about drawing pictures. The whole group draws at the same time, giving everyone the same term through the playing card. The playset contains a total of 30 seconds to draw the term in as much detail as possible. When the time is up, the drawings are passed clockwise to the next person and the playing card is flipped.

The back of the card depicts the desired item and indicates the details of that item to be drawn and how many points you give each detail. The smaller the detail, the more victory points are usually awarded. Above all, this includes details that do not always appear in the mind’s eye, so that the correct guess of what to draw in a short time plays a major role. Someone is especially unlucky if that person has drawn details that the map explicitly indicates as wrong. Negative points are distributed for this, so wild guesswork can quickly backfire.

The person who currently holds the drawing is responsible for evaluating the drawing until it is finally returned to the artists. Two playing cards are played for each player (for example, a total of six playing cards for three people) until the final victory points are determined and the winner is determined.
