Perhaps there is nothing more majestic on this planet than the planet itself. Almost endless oceans, vast landscapes and dense forests surround our Earth, whose magic seems to be more and more forgotten. However, the game “Earth” did not seem to want to allow this. Here, our planet and its nature take center stage — the artwork even consists of gorgeous images of plants and landscapes. Whether “Earth” sounds good, we take a closer look here.

This is what the game is about

In “Earth,” the playgroup attempts to create individual biomes in which different plants and landscapes can coexist in harmony. In this board builder, each person chooses one of four actions on their turn, which can be used to play new cards, collect resources, and draw or store cards. What sets Earth apart is that while the active person can use the full action, everyone else can use a weaker form of the same action.

A total of 360 different cards in the game make it possible to try different combinations during the game and thus accumulate a large number of victory points. This requires good strategic skills, because in most cases the cards benefit from directly adjacent decks or from their own rows and/or columns. Once a person completes their 4×4 grid, the current round ends and victory points are awarded afterward.

Depending on how each person sets up their grid, they can gain victory points for stored cards, hand cards, special classes, and/or positions in the grid. Whoever collects the most victory points wins.

Singles fans can also look forward to a private singles mode. But fans of teams do not miss anything, since “Earth” can also be played in 2v2 mode, which has clear game textures.
