Book tip: Anna Father

Livia Ann Richard is known as a theatrical woman. She has been writing and directing open-air theater on the Gurten in Bern for the past 20 years.

Now she has also successfully started as a book author. Anna Sr is her second book and is filled with powerful images and dialogue.

Anna is a very private woman who braves her own path and is not afraid to pave the way for others. She constantly reinvents herself and doesn’t really care about conventions.

During her exchange year in California, she developed a deep friendship with her host sister Nora at a young age. This results in a role in the life of Anna – usually Anna – that has been completely rethought.

The book falls on two levels of time, the level of young Anna in the 1990s and the level of the older Anna today. This alternation of levels always maintains tension.

On October 9, Livia Ann Richard will receive her “Reading Fever for Spring 2022” on the occasion of her reading at O’Nobern. Book expert Manu Hofstätter of Lesefieber wrote in her review:
