Bob Dylan Announced his first book of new writing since 2004 Chronicles: Volume One. The new group is called Modern song philosophy It will be released on Tuesday, November 8th via Simon & Schuster. Find the book cover below.
According to a press release, Dylan has started work Modern song philosophy 2010. The book contains more than 60 articles written by Dylan about songs by artists including Stephen Foster, Elvis Costello, Hank Williams and Nina Simone. “[Dylan] He analyzes what he calls the trap of easy rhymes, explains how adding a single syllable can reduce a song, and even explains how bluegrass relates to heavy metal,” according to the press release.
