Each winner will receive $5,000 to develop a prototype. If the prototype proves promising, AirConsole will fully fund development of the game, which will then be included in the AirConsole platform. The winners will be invited to BMW headquarters in Munich to see the final result in action.
BMW announced its collaboration with N-Dream, the company behind AirConsole, in October 2022. The automaker from Bavaria chose N-Dream from Switzerland via the BMW Startup Garage program. With N-Dream and its AirConsole cloud-based entertainment solution, BMW and N-Dream want to bring casual gaming into the car.
N-Dream is currently listed on its gaming platform AirConsole More than 190 games. In addition to a free starter package with a few free games and activation for up to two players, N-Dream also offers a paid service at Airconsole.com. As AirConsole Champion, this costs just under $8 per month ($24 if you pay annually) and unlocks all your games with no player restrictions and no ads.
